From COTIT 360° to Retail 360°

Every founder has that one moment where a pattern clicks. For us, it was hearing the same story again and again: “Our systems don’t talk to each other. We’re stuck in spreadsheets. We can’t see what’s really happening.

The Why Behind Retail 360°

Every founder has that one moment where a pattern clicks.
For us, it was hearing the same story again and again: “Our systems don’t talk to each other. We’re stuck in spreadsheets. We can’t see what’s really happening.”

As the team behind COTIT 360°, we had already built a powerful modular platform — one that could connect data streams across the supply chain. But the more we spoke with companies in retail, wholesale, distribution, and e-commerce, the clearer it became: they needed something lighter, faster, and easier.

That’s how Retail 360° was born — a focused solution that takes the DNA of COTIT 360° and makes it ready for retailers, wholesalers, and online sellers.

The Challenge: Drowning in Data Silos

Whether you’re selling through a chain of stores, a wholesale network, or an e-commerce platform, the challenges look surprisingly similar:

  • Inventory scattered across POS, ERP, and spreadsheets.
  • Online sales not synced with physical distribution.
  • Customer data fragmented across loyalty apps, marketplaces, and receipts.

The result? Decisions made in the dark.

A 2023 report by Manhattan Associates showed that businesses only have accurate inventory visibility about 70% of the time — which means for 30% of the day, they’re effectively flying blind. (Source)

We knew our existing COTIT 360° modules could solve this. But companies in retail, wholesale, and distribution didn’t need all the complexity. They needed clarity.

The Evolution: From Supply Chain Complexity to Retail 360°

After many years of investing in a flexible, dynamic environment for supply chain, we realized something important: supply chain is a very large space, with many industries facing similar challenges.

But when we worked closely with companies in retail, wholesale, and distribution, we noticed something else:
👉 Their system configurations were often very similar.

That’s when we made the decision:

  • Build a sub-product for this group.
  • Package it as a focused configuration of our bigger platform.
  • Call it Retail 360°.

See, the platform would allow anyone to create their own dedicated industry or vertical-focused configuration. But we realized: before the market sees the ultimate potential of COTIT 360°, we need to be the ones building the first few examples.

Retail 360° is the first of those examples — and over the coming months, we’ll launch more sub-products for other industries.

A Sneak Peek at What’s Next

While we focus this season on Retail 360°, there’s more brewing under the hood:

  • We’re working on an AI-powered super module (still a bit of a secret 🤫) that will allow industry experts to build their own configurations.
  • These experts could even partly own their environments and earn revenue when competitors or colleagues in their field use them.

Retail 360° is both a product and a demonstration of potential. It shows how COTIT modules can:
✔ Solve any industry problem.
✔ Consolidate systems through connected environments.
✔ Prepare supply chains to be future-ready and adaptable to the latest technology.

The Fun Part: How Our Team Built It
If you’ve ever worked with us, you know we take our work seriously — but never ourselves too seriously. Our devs joke that they love dashboards the way baristas love espresso: strong, fast, and reliable.

When building Retail 360°, we had plenty of “spreadsheet of doom” stories that fueled our design. One of our teammates even mocked up a fake Excel file with 200 tabs just to remind us what we’re fighting against.

It wasn’t glamorous, but it was fun — and it gave us the energy to craft something practical.

What Retail 360° Means Today

  • For retailers, it’s a way to break silos and finally get real-time visibility.
  • For wholesalers and distributors, it’s a way to unify operations across multiple channels.
  • For e-commerce players, it’s a way to sync online sales with real inventory.
  • For us, it’s proof that listening works — building not just for the market, but with the market.

Retail 360° isn’t just a spin-off. It’s the first step in our bigger mission: making supply chains simple, transparent, and adaptable — no matter the industry.
